last week we read " The Wife of Bath's". Compare with other works we read before, this one is harder in the text since its written in old English. However, I found "The Wife of Bath's" is the most interesting one I have learned in English Literature so far.

I actually like the idea that she married her husbands for money and sex, woman deserts to obtain what they want, and since they don't have equal rights as men back in medieval time, what she had done seems to be the only solution for women to pursuit their desire. And she did married fro love at the end, after getting all  that money she wants. I kind think it's a happy ending, well~it would be more like a real happy ending if Janekin didn't hit her in the ear made her deaf.

As for the tale, I think it's pretty unfair that the knight end up having a beautiful and faithful wife. He raped someone and got everything he dreamd of ? well at least he learned(i hope~) to put some respect on female, the best thing you can do is not to do anything!
