Beowulf, a epic poem about a hero who fought against his antagonists. After he defeated two monsters, Grendel and Grendel's mom, he returned his home-Greatland, and was proclaimed king. He's last battle was to kill the dragon, but after he cut the dragon into half, he himself was wouded by the poisonous horn. In the end, he died and was buried by the sea.
i've watch the movie "Beowulf" once, it's kind of ridiculous i thought. some parts of the movie are different from the real Beowulf and it was sort of disappointing...for me. Maybe that's because the images that movie created are very different from mine images in mind while i was reading the poem. In the movie, the setting, characters, themes... are all made by computer; i agree that Grendel could be made by computer with those special efficacy. But i just think it would be more attractive for me if they put some real actors or actress in the movie.
