Disscuss Industrial Revolution,Classes different, the matter of children and love in the book " Lady Chatterley's Lover"

Industrial Revolution affects both Clifford and Mellors, Clifford is a capitalist who approves of industrialize; he gains his power through industrialization and looks down on those who works for him. On the other hand, Mellors is a man against the industrialize, he thinks industrial revolution makes British society a worse place for next gerneration, like what he had said to Connie, he is unwilling to bring a child to such a rotten society.

connie is a woman who was born in the upper class in the England society while Mellors is a man grown up in the lower class. somehow the two of them fall in love with eavh other and make a ideal couple. I was pretty surprise that after all that struggle Connie still choose to love a man who doesn't belong to her world. Maybe the sex between them plays an important role on their affections in their relationship. If there wasn't such perfect sex, the two of them wouldn't have such strong feeling to each other.

children is not a essential in love, for some women like Connie they want to have children as a prove of the love beteween them and their lover. However, in this modern world, financial state is another main issue that need to be take into consideration before deciding to have a baby. if one can't even support himself or herself, how could he or she take responsibility on a newborn's life.

Love may lead to sex; however, sex doesn't equal to love. In Lady Chatterley's Lover, I think Connie loves Mellors because she realizes that from him she acquires something Clifford can't give to her, something important, sex and orgasm. of course she likes his warm smile and eyes and other things, but in the beginning it is the sex between them that makes her attach to him. And their love to each other grow stronger as they know each other more.
